London Landmarks Half Marathon
Sunday 24th March saw Luke Crossland head down to the nations capital to take part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
The race, hosted by baby charity, Tommy’s starts on Pall Mall, finishes by Downing Street and has fabulous views of London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye. The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster.
Luke who is in training to take on the ‘Always Aim High Snowman Legend’ full distance triathlon event in July completed the 13.1 miles of the London Landmarks Half in a time of 1hr 38mins 5sec. Finishing 559 over all, out of 11959 competitors making him in the top 5%.
