Less lycra and trainers, more sequins and high heels the order of the day (and that was just the Chairman) as the Boston Triathlon Club awards presentations were combined with an end of season Christmas party and a visit from a certain red suited gentleman.
The Club Awards returned to Boston Rugby Club at PRSA for 2018 and is a opportunity for the whole triathlon club to come together under one roof to celebrate the best moments of 2018 with friends and family while enjoying a night of food, drink and entertainment.
It has been another fantastic year for the club and its athletes, we were honoured to once again be awarded East Midlands Club of the Year for the second year running, earnt the British Triathlon Tri Mark Bronze accreditation and have two athletes (Katie Ball & Craig Oliver) compete as GB age groupers.
The club committees hardest and least enviable job of the year is deciding which members personal, mental and physical battles and successes to celebrate.
The awards are split into three categories, under 7’s, Juniors and Adults.
